Mortality and Death Registration Assessment Survey (MADRAS) 2019

MADRAS 2019 was designed to assess completeness of death registration in rural Madhya Pradesh. The survey was conducted in August 2019 in ten randomly selected villages of a district in MP.  The survey consisted of a census of all households in these villages. Investigators in the survey were student volunteers from universities and colleges in India. The questionnaire used in the study is available for download. Data used in the survey are being processed, and will be available soon. The survey was organized by Kanika Sharma, Aashish Gupta, and Neeraj Kumar Singh.
