Kundan Pandey of DownToEarth, India's very cool green magazine published a short report on the Squat Survey.

Then YouthKiAwaaz (Voice of the Youth) which publishes articles on social issues by young people replugged an IndiaSpend story, but with a photo of a kachha toilet, the kind which are extremely hard to find in India (See table 1 and the rest of our working paper to know more on this).
