I confess I don't know where the $1 to $5 comes from, and I wouldn't focus on respiratory infections, but instead chronic intestinal disease keeping children from growing healthy, tall, and smart -- but what they get exactly right is how very important sanitation is for human welfare. Celebrate World Toilet Day!
