Today, as I'm working on an extended abstract for a project about women's status and child health in India, I've been reviewing this wonderful 1996 essay written three UNICEF affiliates. I honestly can't remember if I've posted this before, but I don't think I have. And if I did, it is definitely worth a second read. It's not at all technical, but it is provocative and persuasive.
